Mark Dye – Mark is most well-known for his bass playing in The Work. Hazen also teaches jazz piano at Clemson University and is endorsed by Hammond Organs. Hazen spent 20 years on the road with The Swinging Medallions and backing up the likes of Little Richard, The Four Tops, The Supremes, Pearcy Heath, The Tams, and a countless list of other famous R&B stars. Hazen Bannister - Hazen is the newest member taking on the Keyboards and Organ chair along with some backup harmonies. He brings a unique sound to The Professors including Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, and Neil Young. Charles is well known for Folk, Bluegrass, Grateful Dead, and Americana styles. She loves to get funky and can really sing and dance! Whitney specializes in sultry, smooth R&B.Ĭharles Hedgepath - Charles is the newest member of the vocal team. Whitney Walters - Whitney is a local star in Greenville, SC, being featured on TV, Radio and sporting events. Jamie's enthusiasm gets everybody in the mood to party! Jamie can belt it out and specializes in Aretha Franklin. Jamie Wright - Jamie has been building a steady reputation on the scene as the leader of The Jamie Wright Experience and singing backups with Whitney Walters. Without having to concentrate on drums, Tez can concentrate on belting it out for you with his unique and rich baritone voice! But only in The Professors of Soul is he featured out front as a lead vocalist. "Big Tez" Sherard - Many of you know "Big Tez" Sherard from playing drums and singing backups throughout the US and the world with Edwin McCain, Mack Arnold and the Plateful of Blues. Craig is the ultimate MC and makes everybody feel at home. His earthy, New Orleans vocal style alongside his trumpet playing makes him standout as a monster performer and entertainer. Monty also heads up the jazz combo program at Clemson University.Ĭraig Sorrells - Craig has become a staple figure in the upstate music scene performing with Warren Haynes, Laura Reed, The Work, The Gypsy Souls, and The Craig Sorrells Project.
